Floppy

Floppy - is a ten year old black jenny that is 51 inches tall. Admittedly Floppy has had some rough spots in her life. This really great saddle donkey got in a pretty serious scrape with another donkey and her ear was damaged. However, we feel this girl has a real purpose in life because she does everything that anyone could ever ask a riding donkey to do like lead, trailer load, stand quietly to saddle and mount, go out alone in a very calm manner and walk out at whatever pace you ask for. She is traffic safe including big dump trucks, semi's and every other imaginable vehicle. There is a big construction project on our road that causes all of this traffic to test our donkeys with! We feel very confident that she would be ideal for kids, inexperienced riders, or others that just want to enjoy a calm drama free ride. Please feel free and encouraged to come to our farm to ride and see for yourself. Someone will fall in love with Floppy the minute you step up in the saddle.

Preacher - Is an 8 year old gray dunn gelding that is 53 inches tall. Preacher is a real dandy. We think he is a saddle donkey that will go anywhere you ask him to go. We have ridden him down the railroad tracks when trains are coming by and he never made a bad move or even paid any attention to trains coming by within 20 feet of him. He is of course completely traffic safe, stands quietly to saddle and mount, is easy to catch, leads at your elbow, trailer loads without hesitation, crosses water with no problem, walks out at a good pace, trots and lopes out on request, goes out alone or with a large group, good with cleaning his feet and anything else I may have left out. Here is an ideal riding donkey that we think will please the most picky rider. As always, you are invited and encouraged to come ride Preacher and any of our other saddle donkeys.

- is a four year old dark gray gelding that is 53 1/2 inches tall and still growing. Hondo is quite a saddle donkey. He is full of life with plenty of forward go. He rides out totally under control but without a lazy bone in his body. He stands quietly to saddle and mount, leads willingly, goes out alone, is traffic safe, is willing and able to carry a 200 # rider when asked, and he trailer loads without hesitating. He is well proportioned and classy and does everything a really nice riding donkey could be asked to do.
You are always welcome and invited to our farm to ride him for yourself. In our opinion Hondo is almost the ideal saddle donkey.

- Is a 3 1/2 year old dark sorrel gelding that is 51 inches tall. This saddle donkey is calm, safe, gentle, and we feel that these important qualities make him suitable for an inexperienced rider or beginner or even a new rider. He leads, trailer loads, goes out alone, is traffic safe, and will go when and where you ask. Hector much prefers to walk or trot instead of loping out. He would be one of the best for a rider that would like to build or rebuild their confidence. Admittedly he is not the most classy and beautiful donkey we have ever seen, but his other great qualities will make this riding donkey the ideal mount, companion, and friend for you or someone special. Rowdy - Is a seven year old black gelding that is 54 inches tall. Rowdy is a nice looking riding donkey that may be the exact answer to many peoples trail and pleasure riding wishes. He is a pleasure to be around and is almost polite when he is saddled and mounted. Rowdy passed every one of our requirements to be placed on our ready to go list. The requirements include going out alone, easily trailer loads, and leads without resistance. He is happy with traveling down the trail or road and at whatever speed you choose. He will lead the group, be in the middle or will bring up the rear if his rider chooses. He is traffic safe, calm and respectful in all situations.

- Is a six year old roan dapple gelding that is 59" tall. He is big, stout, and willing to go when and where you ask him to go. This true mammoth saddle donkey easily passed all of his required tests in record time. However, he has been under saddle for a couple of years before coming here. This big and sound riding donkey should pass inspection by anyone looking for this quality of a beautiful riding donkey. He will be here for your inspection as long as he lasts!

Dusty - Is a four year old buckskin dunn blaze faced jenny that is 49 1/2 inches tall. Dusty is the riding donkey that we put the inexperienced riders on when they come to ride. She is quite a little saddle donkey that will easily carry a 160 pound rider and never look back. She will really step out when asked but is willing to take it slow and easy with kids or less confident riders. She has passed all of our test like leading, cleaning out her feet, trailer loading, going out alone, standing quietly to saddle and mount, and is traffic safe. She will go where you point her without objection or is just as willing to follow the others out on the trail or down the road. If you have been looking for the ideal smaller riding donkey that can easily and willingly carry an adult and is also suitable for the inexperienced rider, here she is. Come see for yourself.

Lucky - Is a 5 year old sorrel gelding that is 49 inches tall. Lucky is quite a little saddle donkey who has the heart of a big donkey. There is a real story about him and how he got his name, however that story is too long to get into here! He has carried a 200 pound rider for miles and miles with ease and willingness. You can rest assured that you will not be left behind going down the road or trail. He will definitely hit the road if you give him a loose rein! He is also just as happy in the middle or back of the pack. If you have been looking for a smaller riding donkey that requires no mounting block but can do all day on the trail, here he is. Chapo - Is a 5 year old black gelding that is 52 inches tall. Chapo is a fun and relaxing saddle donkey that will do whatever you ask him to do in a calm and pleasing way. He has a strong and very straight back that indicates his quality and strength. He has passed all of our requirements with flying colors. Taylor - Is a 6 year old gray paint jenny that is 52 1/2 inches tall. Taylor is a full bodied, full hipped, and wide chested riding donkey that rides, leads, loads in the trailer like you want one to do. She is traffic and trail safe and has been a joy to own and train. She walks out good at a medium pace on the road or trail and will trot and lope on request. (Your request not hers!) She has a pleasant and colorful look that is unusual and eye catching.

- Is a 8 year old dark gray gelding hat is 54 1/2 inches tall. Chino is a pleasant riding donkey that has a kind personality. He travels out with a nice forward motion that is a ground covering gait. He is traffic safe, goes out alone wen asked, trailer loads easily and quickly, stands quietly to saddle and mount, and is willing to go when and where you ask him to go. - Is a four year old jenny that is 52 inches tall and probably will grow another inch or so. Nikki is a heavy built and strong saddle donkey that likes to work. She is forward and rapid in her walk and trot. She enjoys loping when and if you ask her to do so. We believe she does everything you could do to be an outstanding ad attractive saddle donkey. She leads, trailer loads, and stands to saddle and mount. She pays no attention to traffic, deer, cows or anything else you might encounter on the road or trail. She goes out alone or with a group and is a joy to ride. All of our customers are invited and encouraged to come to our farm and see for yourself.
